I can't transmit because the long-range satellites are targeting the probe instead of the ship.An extensive instruction manual is available at and includes a player guide, gameplay mechanics, detailed part summaries, and tutorials. Is there any way to make it act more like targeting a planet? The reasoning: I drop off a probe down to Dres which connects to the interplanetary ship short range. This is obviously not ideal because there are 2 of them and only one is guaranteed to be visible. If I point it at the long-range satellite it works fine. If I do, the connection constantly flashes on and off (every 1/2 to 2 seconds). Second issue, I noticed that when far away from kerbin (tested on dres and eeloo) I can't point my dish (the 350Gm one) at Kerbin. Second and third issues relate to interplanetary communication. So it only takes 3600 orbits (300 days) until the satellites are beside each other. When I came back, all my satellites are out of position.įor example, 2 satellites 180 degrees offset have 2 hour orbits. Then I did a mission to dres and eeloo that took a few years. I set up two large dish satellites in a very eccentric orbit for interplanetary communications. Is there a good way to deal with this? I set up some kerbin satellites, some mun satellites, some minmus satellites. ![]()
